ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Stochastic Numerics and Statistical Learning Workshop 2026 will be held at KAUST between April 19 and April 29. It will convene leading scholars in stochastic algorithms, numerical analysis, statistical learning, optimization, Bayesian inference, stochastic optimal control, quantitative finance, and data assimilation, as well as experts from focused application areas. The workshop will feature a dedicated Climate Applications Day on April 23 to spotlight stochastic numerics in climate modeling, Red Sea/regional forecasting, and resilience. Another day will be centered on computational finance. These applications are of crucial importance globally and in the Kingdom.
