GenAI Applications for Sustainability and Essential Needs

In this application research area, the Center aims to develop and build multimodal foundation models and methods, specifically targeting the intricacies of earth observation data and aligning with environmental sustainability goals. AI-assisted remote sensing capture and analysis, onboard processing and informatics retrieval, and advanced AI-assisted climate forecasting are the initial focus areas. The lead of this theme is Professor Matthew McCabe.
