In this application research area, the Center aims to develop and build multimodal foundation models and methods, specifically targeting the intricacies of earth observation data and aligning with environmental sustainability goals. AI-assisted remote sensing capture and analysis, onboard processing and informatics retrieval, and advanced AI-assisted climate forecasting are the initial focus areas.
