With a career rooted in higher education, she specializes in translating complex ideas into compelling narratives, helping institutions and individuals share their knowledge with broader audiences.

As Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at KAUST in Saudi Arabia, Emily leads strategic communications, global partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and brand management.

Before joining KAUST in May 2023, Emily held senior leadership roles in the Australian higher education sector, where she spearheaded initiatives in global branding, external relations, and student recruitment. Her work increased institutional visibility and engagement through innovative storytelling, strategic campaigns, and robust stakeholder communication frameworks.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Graphic Design and New Media), a Master of Commerce (Marketing), and has completed executive leadership training at Columbia and London Business Schools.

At KAUST, Emily works closely with executives, global partners, and Kingdom stakeholders to shape the university's positioning, ensuring its mission, values, and achievements resonate within KSA and globally.
