Biography

Seán M. Stewart joined KAUST in 2021 as an Instructional Associate Professor of applied physics, where he teaches courses in both mathematics and physics within the Physical Science and Engineering Division. He has a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He has written numerous research articles and is the author of How to Integrate It: A Practical Guide to Finding Elementary Integrals, published by Cambridge University Press (2017), and co-author of Blackbody Radiation: A History of Thermal Radiation Computational Aids and Numerical Methods, published by CRC Press (2016). Prior to KAUST, he taught mathematics and physics to engineers in Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates. ​
