The signing ceremony to celebrate this strategic partnership took place on November 13, 2023 at KAUST campus. The event featured key representatives from KAUST and THIQAH, showcasing the shared vision and commitment to fostering innovation in the digital landscape.

Professor, Applied Mathematics and Computational Science Omar Knio highlighted that he signing of the memorandum of understanding marks a milestone in the university’s rapidly developing engagement with Thiqah.  “Leveraging the strengths of Thiqah and KAUST in digital technologies, the agreement aims to accelerate collaborative research and joint development in strategic areas, pursuing innovative products and solutions and furthering our Vision 2030 aspirations,” he said.
