KAUST and Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina signing the MOU.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, February 8, 2024 - The Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) to enhance collaboration in various activities, including research, knowledge exchange and cooperation in educational programs.

The signing took place at the Yacht Club in the presence of officials from both organizations. The agreement aims to strengthen the partnership between KAUST and the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina and opens new opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing between the two entities.

Chris Sealey, Vice President of Community Life at KAUST, said “We at KAUST are thrilled about the opportunities for research and community collaboration that this MOU with Jeddah Yacht Club presents. Our sailors at KAUST are looking forward to competing with other sailors, and the leisure facilities at Jeddah Yacht Club provide an excellent option for our growing community and their families to enjoy their leisure time. We believe that this partnership will not only strengthen our research and educational programs but also foster a sense of community and collaboration among our members and the wider community.”
