الاهتمامات البحثية

تركز اهتمامات البروفيسورة الخوري البحثية على الجبر التبادلي والجبر التبادلي التوافقي، مع التركيز على نظرية التوافقات (syzygies) والحلول الصغرى (minimal resolutions) على الحلقات متعددة الحدود. يوسع هذا المجال مفهوم الاستقلالية الخطية من الفضاءات المتجهة إلى الحلقات متعددات الحدود ذات المتغيرات المتعددة. يعتبر دراسة الحلول الحرة (free resolutions) أحد أكثر المجالات ديناميكية في الجبر التبادلي، بجذور تعود إلى ديفيد هيلبرت، وقد ظل هذا الموضوع محورياً لعقود. كما تستكشف أبحاث الخوري تطوير الحلول الحرة لجبر آرتينيان غورينشتاين (Artinian Gorenstein algebras)، والحلول الحرة لقوى المثاليّات الأحادية (monomial ideals) .
